Dear Families

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our annual Sports Day event on Thursday 11^th June 2026.

All classes will be participating in a variety of events.

Timings for the day are as follows:

Years 1 and 2: 9.00am - 10.10am

Pre School 2026 Leavers and Reception Class: 10.30am - 11.35am

Years 3 and 4: 1.00pm - 2.00pm

Years 5 and 6: 2.00pm - 3.00pm

Parents are welcome to join us. The field will be open to parents and carers 5 minutes prior to the events starting, via the school carpark. Please drop your children off as normal and make your way around to the carpark using the external route. This will ensure the children can be registered and organised as usual and the school site secured.

Arrangements for Sports Day:

Please ensure your child arrives to school in their full PE kit on this day, including trainers.

Long hair will need to be tied back and earrings removed as they would for normal PE lessons.

Please provide your child with a named water bottle. The children will have access to refreshment breaks throughout the event.

Please put sun-cream on your child before school and ensure they have a sunhat – even if it looks overcast first thing. Likewise if it looks cool, ensure they have a sweatshirt.

Organisation of Sports Day:

Children will be taking part in both track and field events. All events will take place on the main field. There will be a roped off area in the centre of the field from which you can spectate/support your child/ren. Please help us to ensure the safety of all children by respecting this and support your children from this area.
