Find out what our pupils have been up to on this year's residential
Day 1 - the children arrived safely, found their yurts, had a safety briefing and were busy shelter building. Next up lunch - fajitas yummy! Everyone had something yummy to eat, recharged their batteries and headed out on a Wilderness Trail. An evening game is taking place at the moment before tea, including chocolate brownies! A great first day.
Day 2 - so far the children have had a fantastic day, waking up to a cooked breakfast, followed by knife skills, creating tent pegs, building a fire to cook their burgers on for lunch. After lunch the children took part in a first aid course and then practised these skills in a first aid scenario. I popped there myself this evening and the children are all having a fabulous time in the wilderness and were definitely ready for their dinner, including yummy apple crumble.
Day 3 - Another busy day at camp, including a camouflage session in the woods, target practise, archery and archery tag. The children also created and made their own pizza, cooked it in the pizza oven and enjoyed it round the camp fire. A couple of photos are also from last night of the children practising their first aid skills in a 'scenario' in the woods! Last evening round the campfire and home tomorrow. Have fun guys!
